On March 13, our regular chicken processor informed us they are closing their doors. This changes our processing costs. Now we have no choice but to purchase chicken crates and find affordable transportation for our birds. In addition to this, we have to use a different processor that is more expensive.
In order to cover my new upfront cost, I am asking you to pre order and help me stay farming. Your options are $200 or $400 deposit to secure your chicken production.Without deposits I will struggle to continue produce chicken this year and with out chicken it would be difficult to susatin the farm. Customers will be credited their chickens in the months of October and November.
$200 deposit is Approx 5- whole chickens or parts (about $6.25 per lbs)
$400 deposit is Approx 10 -whole chickens or parts
This news brought to light that there are very few of us left raising birds slowly and outside. Your support will allow me to continue. Thank you for helping keep us raising chicken!
