The community project is designed to build community and help our communities.  It gives people a chance to see how the farm works, enjoy the soil, laughter of working the land and getting really great food in the community.

Option 1

-  The Garlic Scape Project- Any group that would like to come and pick the scapes, can keep them and sell them, make pesto with them and keep the profits.

How it works -

- Organization contact person signs up on this website ensuring email and text phone number is for the leader.

-Leader organizes  4-20 members of your group out at the farm when the scapes are ready usually around the end of June the beginning of July. Come to the farm pick up.

Leader and group coordinate plan for  processing of your scapes on your end. There are many ways to work with scapes. If you plan to sell the pesto, you would have to make it in a commercial kitchen. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/199868/garlic-scape-pesto/

- We can have lots of fun, discuss food , beverage and camping too! Hope you consider the amazing team building , community building and fun we can have with this community project!

- Your group would work with our crew over 1 -2 days depending on the number of people you have in your group  You would receive  value of the labor in garlic 1000 bulbs minimum. You could then go and sell the garlic for your group and keep the profits.
